Jumpin’ Monkeys is a monkey-launching skill-and-action game where players try to be the first to catapult all their monkeys into the tree to win the bananas. For full review and shopping info►
The game comes with a tree with two levels of leaves, 16 monkeys, 16 bananas, four catapults, and a label sheet.
The game is for two to four players, and each player gets four monkeys of the same color and a matching color catapult. Each player also takes four bananas. To start, each player places one banana into a communal “banana pile”, and then all players start launching their monkeys on the tree. If your monkey lands on a tree and is holding onto a branch with one or both arms, it counts. If your monkey is only laying across the leaves, it doesn’t count, but you get to remove that monkey and launch it again. The same goes for any monkeys that don’t land on the tree. The first player to get all four of his monkeys correctly in the tree wins the bananas in the banana pile. Then players take back their monkeys, put another banana in the banana pile, and play another round. After four rounds, the player with the most bananas is the winner.
